Topics for my research paper:
I would like to research blood diamonds. After watching the movie Blood Diamond, I was interested in learning how it all it got started, who started it, and why it is so important to the people there. I would like to be able to look deeper into the thoughts of others that have witnessed the horrible things that happened and the consequences of not following through with the leaders demands. I really do not know a whole lot about this subject besides what I seen when I watched the movie. That is partly why it would be such a great subject to explore.

Also, I would be interested in researching poverty. There is so much of it happening all over the world today and I would like to learn more about the subject. I have always thought that joining the peace corp would be amazing. Just to be able to help another person and see a smile upon there face would be fascinating to me.
